Fendi
In 1925, Adele Fendi and Edoardo Fendi opened their leather goods shop in Rome.
Their five daughters built Fendi into an international fashion empire. In the 1960s, they appointed Karl Lagerfeld as creative director, a position he held until his death in 2019. He not only designed the famous FF logo, but also created iconic bags such as the Fendi Baguette and the Fendi Peekaboo.
Today, Maria Grazia Chiuri has returned to Fendi as Creative Director. Between 1989 and 1999, she worked for the fashion house as an accessories designer.
