In 1925, Adele and Edouardo Fendi started their leather goods shop in Rome.
Their five daughters built the Fendi empire. In the 1960's they appointed Karl Lagerfeld as creative director who remained there until his death in 2019. He not only designed the famous FF logo, but also designed iconic bags such as the Baguette and the Peekaboo.
Today Kim Jones is the creative director.
